About Bob's Garage
Our Mission
Bob's Garage is a 5 year plan to establish a Veteran's organization in honor of the founder's Father and Grandfather. Check back often as we will be growing and adding information towards our goal as we go. We are focused on the younger generation of Veterans.
UPDATE:
The ultimate goal is to establish a location where veterans and their families will have a safe environment to work on their own vehicles with Loaner tools and a mechanic on site.
Where we are
We are based out of Mesa, Az. We don't have a physical location just yet but that is part of the plan.
Who we are
CoFounders are Dan Tucker, who is a GWOT Veteran, and Robert Meyer, who is a Proud grandson of a Veteran. Both huge local music fans and supporters.
Our Goals
- Support our local Veteran Service Organizations by bringing in the younger generation of not just Veterans but their families.
- Helping grow the American Legions and Veterans of Foreign Wars in Arizona.
- Eventually charter and build a mutual establishment for an American Legion named after Bawb Tucker and a VFW named after Bob Meyer.
- The dream is to find an old Quick Lube or maintenance shop. Keeping at least one bay still operational and have a mechanic on duty with loaner tools so veterans and their families can work on their own vehicles.
